Another Baby Leaves Home
I just said goodbye to the second of my puppies, Fatso. He's the only short hair of the litter and because he looks exactly like his mom he was extra special to us. He was adopted by a very nice couple that had another tiny dog for him to play with. I'll miss him very much but he seemed to like his new family right away and that's very comforting for me.
Dior & Lynnderella Love
I've said before that I don't own too many high end polishes, I had one Dior, Warerlily. This was 1/2 of the spring garden party collection, by the time I decided I needed the other color it was sold out.... I was recently blown away by a gift that one one my dear friends sent me... She got me the second color, Forget Me Not! I was so excited and actually wore this color for an entire week! Here it is with a layer of Lynnderella Connect the dots on top

Bye bye Blackie...
I haven't posted in a while, I'm having major surgery in a few days and I've been really busy trying to get everything in order before I'm laid up. The thing that's been keeping me the busiest is finding homes for my puppies, since I already had four dogs before they were born keeping them was just not an option.
Today I said goodbye to the first of the babies, a little black female that we so originally named 'Blackie.' While I'm very sad to see her go I'm satisfied that her new owner already loves her and I have a feeling she'll be quite the spoiled brat very soon.
To make my self feel better here are a few pictures of Blackie.

Puppy Update Week 6
The puppies were six weeks old this week. They've been transitioning to kibble and have learned how to be bad. The tiniest puppy was the first to figure out how to escape the whelping box and she now does it regularly to irritate her sibling. They're all deliciously chubby and get cuter every day.

Jelly Sandwich
I'm finally jumping on the jelly sandwich bandwagon! Today I've layered OPI y'all come back ya hear with DL today was a fairy tale. TWAF has a blue base so it did make my mani a darker orange but over all I like the result. End polish count is 5 layers OPI, 1 layer TWAF, 1 coat SV

Julep Natasha
Today I'm wearing julep Natasha. This is a jelly creme that lies halfway in between traffic cone orange and tomato red. It's super bright and a perfect summer color. This is 2 coats plus sv, no shrinkage issues.

Puppy Update Week 5
The puppies turned five weeks old on Sunday, I just got around to the update for two reasons... 1. It is nearly impossible to get good pictures of the little rascals as they now spend every waking moment either fighting or eating 2. I finally had some extra time due to being too lazy to soak off yesterday's glitter mani.
They are starting to be weaned from mom and spend a good deal of time away from her. They now recognize me and cry for attention when they see or hear me. And, wonder of wonders, they now love to be held and scratched. Next week we plan to introduce them to the big dogs, as of now they've only ever seen mom and dad, both of whom weigh less than 7 lbs.

Matte Glitter Frankens
Ever since I first laid eyes on floam I've been completely in love with matter glitters. After finally getting a hold of suspension base and finding solvent stable glitter I started making my own. These are my first two, I'd love to know what you think of them as I'm not the most objective when it comes to judging my own creations.

Pretty and Polished Phoenix
I was able to get 2 more P&P's during the last restock, Phoenix and Bayou Blitz, today I'm wearing Phoenix. I have it layered over DL My Old Flame which is one of my favorite reds. Phoenix is matte neon yellow micro glitter and medium and small red hexes. It gives a great sort of ember effect which according to the description is exactly what she was going for. This is 2 coats
DL, 2 coats Phoenix, and one coat SV

Lac Attack Hell on Heels
This is day three of my essence fruity manicure, to spice it up I added two coats of lac attack hell on heels. It reminds me of confetti cupcake batter or mothers animal cookies. I used one coat of gelous and one of SV to get it smooth. Pictures are with and without flash

Essence Fruity Collection: Very Cherry
Today Im wearing another one of the fruity polishes my pen friend sent me. This shade is called very cherry, it's a very pretty salmon/peachy pink speckled with tiny fuchsia glitter. This is three coats plus SV. The formula on these is great and a pleasure to work with, I think I'll layer it with glitter tomorrow so I'll post an update if and when it happens. Non flash picture is an accurate representation of opacity and finish, flash pic is being obnoxious and making vnl where there is none but it is color accurate.
