Daring Digits Punch Me Purple + Stamping

I refreshed my Essie mani by adding a glitter accent from daring digits and stamping from my cheeky xl plates.

The glitter is called punch me purple, it makes a great layering polish but would've been very difficult to wear by itself. This glitter is very well suspended and dries quickly, I used SV on a few fingers and did get shrinkage so I'd probably recommend wicked fast for this one.

The stamping was done with konad wine red.

Daring Digits Master Shake Reformulated

So, a while ago I wore Master Shake by Daring Digits... I wasn't thrilled because the polish she sent me was a frost rather than the jelly that was pictured in the listing. I emailed the shop owner and inquired as to whether she was going to make the jelly version available again and she was extremely nice and told me that because she didn't modify the listing she would send me a bottle of the jelly version free of charge. I really wasn't looking for a freebie, I would have been more than happy to place a second order.

I was terribly impressed with her customer service, and when the second bottle of master shake came in I was impressed with her polish. The formula was perfect, 2 coats for a squishy but opaque finish that was heavily complimented.

Lush Lacquer Mr. Bubble over Zoya Juicy

Today I'm wearing Zoya Juicy topped with Lush Lacquer Mr. bubble. Juicy is a muted raspberry jelly, this is three coats plus SV. Mr Bubble is matte pink, blue, and white hexes in various sizes.

I was really excited about mr bubble, I love the colors and thought the listing showed great density. It took a little over two weeks for my polish to get here, but they do state a 2 week turn around in their policies. I am disappointed at the over abundance of clear base in the polish though, I was expecting a lot more glitter, what you see here is about 3 coats, dabbed on for maximum coverage. I still think this polish is pretty, but it was a let down.

Nail Pattern Boldness: Flipping Out Hard + Black Spotted

This is the most insane, radioactively bright polish I've ever seen in my life! Floam-esque but much more yellow, it's not neon, it's the green goo that turned the Ninja Turtles into mutants! This is 2 coats + 2 coats gelous + SV. It's thick and gooey and super gritty, not for the faint of heart! I added black spotted the next day because I'm still obsessed with that polish. Enjoy!

Daring Digits Master Shake

Today in wearing daring digits master shake. I'm very disappointed in this polish... The listing shows a deliciously squishy soft white jelly with pink and gold glitter, she changed the formula and this polish is now a frosty pearly mess. The formula went on pretty easily, and if you like frosty pearly things this may work out well for you. I really don't like it and didn't even polish my right hand. This is 3 coats plus one coat SV.

All That Glitters Hole Hearted & Zoya Uli

I don't do nudes. I can never find one that suits my coloring, I have about 8 different shades of tan that make me look funky just sitting in my melmer. That being said, I was gifted Zoya Uli in an Easter exchange that I was a part of and I REALLY like it. It has just enough gold in it to be interesting and is 'nude' enough to not make me look oddly pink or green. I can't possibly leave well enough alone so I topped Uli with Hole Hearted. I LOVE hole hearted in theory, but in practice it's a lot of work to get even one heart per nail...
Pictures are Uli by itself and then with hole hearted.

Tina and Lucy Disco

Today I'm wearing Disco by etsy seller Tina and Lucy. This is two coats. To be totally honest, I was a little disappointed with this polish. The listing shows a very coral looking shade and this is very much tan/nude. It's my fault though because the description says its a tab base, I guess I'll just have to pay more attention next time.

Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker Matte

Still not 100% from my surgery (it's been a little less than a week) so I decided to rewear a polish I love. This is P&P jawbreaker, the original formulation so it's slightly pink tinged from the red squares that Chelsea used to use. To change it up a bit I topped it with Essie Matte About You which gives a beautiful velvet matte texture. This is 2 coats jawbreaker, 1 coat SV, and one coat of matte about you

Pretty and Polished Phoenix

I was able to get 2 more P&P's during the last restock, Phoenix and Bayou Blitz, today I'm wearing Phoenix. I have it layered over DL My Old Flame which is one of my favorite reds. Phoenix is matte neon yellow micro glitter and medium and small red hexes. It gives a great sort of ember effect which according to the description is exactly what she was going for. This is 2 coats
DL, 2 coats Phoenix, and one coat SV

Lac Attack Hell on Heels

This is day three of my essence fruity manicure, to spice it up I added two coats of lac attack hell on heels. It reminds me of confetti cupcake batter or mothers animal cookies. I used one coat of gelous and one of SV to get it smooth. Pictures are with and without flash

Nailventurous Robin Laid An Egg

Today I'm wearing NVL Robin Laid An Egg, it's a gorgeous multicolored glitter in a white cream base. This is two coats plus SV. While the formula is very easy to work with I will admit that it starts off looking patchy, everything evens out with the second coat though.

NVL Hidden Potential

Today I'm wearing Hidden Potential from nailventurous. I got it in the mail this morning and had to put it on immediately... This is two costs plus SV. The polish was a little thick but still easy to work with. What look like lumps in the picture is actually whit hex glitter which gives a very interesting look irl.

Whimsical Ideas by Pam: Peanut Butter & Jelly

Today I'm wearing the second polish that I purchased from whimsical ideas by Pam. It's a purple jelly with gold hex and microglitter. Pam designed this to look like a pb&j sandwhich, since that's my favorite snack I had to have it! I like the color but I think it looks better on my toes than my fingers, that's ok though because I needed a new pedi color anyway. This is 3 coats plus SV, be forewarned, there was tip shrinkage.

Whimsical Idea by Pam: Hatched

Been a little busy but took a minute to treat my glitter withdrawal! Today I'm wearing Hatched, it's a very pale creamy yellow with lots of blue, pink, purple, and green glitter in multiple sizes. It's perfect for spring avd went on in two very easy coats. Bonus pic of my awesomely lazy little puppy.

Chanel June with Lac Attack

I don't own too many high end polishes, I'm a student and try to stretch my polish dollars as far as they can possibly go. As a result I don't even bother to look at the limited edition releases from Chanel, why get my hopes up for no reason? But I was recently offered this polish in a swap and I jumped at the chance. June is the most perfect orange, it's on the sheer side so three coats were necessary but the amazing formula more than made up for that. I was missing my glitter do I added a Lac Attack accent nail.

Elemental Styles E=mc2

Today I'm wearing E=mc2 from elemental styles. This is three coats plus gelous and SV. The formula was a little thicker than I usually like but was very easy to work with and was PACKED with glitter. Coverage was very even and I didn't have to dig, fish, or spot place glitter at all!

Pretty and Polished Princess Piggy

Today (and for Easter) I'm wearing Princess Piggy from P&P, this is from her PJ's polish for kids line and is only available in mini bottles. This is three thin coats smoothed out w/orly smudge fixer and topped with SV. I really like the combination of glitter in this polish, but I'm not sure that this shade of pink works with my skin tone...

Nailventurous Humble Bee

In the mad dash that was the NVL restock the only polish I was able to snag was humble bee. I got it in the mail today and threw it over yesterday's mani. Humble bee dries matte with a very interesting texture, it's perfect for layering but would probably take some work to get to opacity. This is one coat of Humble Bed over nails topshop hidden treasure, no topcoat.

Dollish Polish Hip Hop Hippity Hop

HHHH is a polish that dolly had originally intended to be an Easter LE. It sold so well that she decided not to make it LE after all... It was such a beautiful polish, pastel pink with bright green, pink, and purple glitter.
For some reason the original version turned into glue balls and most of us were unable to use it. Dolly reformulated the polish and put it back up for sale. I have both versions and while the colors of the first seem a bit brighter I much prefer the second, the glitter is smooth and subtle and the formula was perfect.

First two pictures are version 2, 2 coats with SV.

2nd two are the original version, no topcoat.

Last is a comparison bottle shot, original is on the right

Lacquer Convention Poptart

Today I've got a (new?) indie seller lacquer convention. I really like glitter in milky bases and tend to buy every one that I see. I was a little worried that this would be dupey for jawbreaker but it's completely different. Jawbreaker had larger, crisper, bright glitter while poptart has a much whiter base and smaller glitter in softer more candy like colors. 3 coats plus SV
