Essence Snow White Collection Evil Queen

As some of you know I've had a few surgeries in the past month and have been busy trying to recover. A very sweet friend of mine knows this and sent me the most wonderful RAOK. She sent ALL of the Snow White glitters, an Essence peel off base coat and the cutest little Dior make up purse. She did all this in the name of a get well present, I was totally floored and am left speechless by her kindness and generosity. I can NOT thank her enough, I was so excited and thrilled when I opened the package.

Without further ado, here's evil queen over OPI DS Original. Evil Queen is a 'special effects' glitter topper, I found that it was best to dab it on in order to get the glitter to spread out evenly. I used one coat of Wicked Fast top coat but am thinking that I should have used SV, wicked fast bubbled.

The Essence limited edition collections are not available for sale in the us. So if you have a friend in Europe you may still be able to get these, otherwise your best bet is a swap.

OPI DS Original

I was gifted this polish as part of a raok swap I participate in... It's freaking made exclusively of win!!! I can not capture how beautiful this polish is in person, it's almost as if a unicorn puked tiny rainbows all over my nails! This is 2 heavy coats + 1 coat of wicked fast

Lynnderella Common Sense + OPI San Tan-tonio + Striping

Love Common Sense, LOVE!!! I didn't want to take it off so I decided to try my brand new striping tape for the first time. I decided to go with OPI San Tan-tonio because it gives a very nice contrast to the glittery holo-y awesomeness of the Lynn.

The striping took FOREVER! I love the way it turned out and I could never do this with scotch tape but this is the most time consuming mani I've ever done.

OPI Black Spotted over Julep Courteney

I'm still obsessed with black spotted and I'm still slapping on top of every mani I wear... This is Julep Courteney (2 coats) with SV and then black spotted on top. Courteney was a little thick in the bottle so I added thinner and then it was perfect. Juleps cremes are very pigmented and almost always benefit from a little thinner.

I kind of don't like this combo, I love the green on its own, and I obviously love the spotted effect but together they're very swamp thing... Just not my cup of tea I guess

OPI Black Spotted over Julep Rose

Didn't get a chance to post this yesterday, so here's rose with black spotted on top. I'm learning that the thinner the coat of black spotted the better the spotting is, notice the difference between my left and right hands.

OPI Black Spotted

I got it! This elusive French exclusive was sent to me by an awesome polish fairy and I am so excited. I was wearing OPI I don't give a Rotterdam and threw this on top as soon as I opened the package. The polish is very thin and doesn't need you to keep going over the nail like I've seen in YouTube, I just did my regular three strokes and it started to spot up immediately. I think I'm really liking the effect and will probably wear spotted manis all week.

Jelly Sandwich

I'm finally jumping on the jelly sandwich bandwagon! Today I've layered OPI y'all come back ya hear with DL today was a fairy tale. TWAF has a blue base so it did make my mani a darker orange but over all I like the result. End polish count is 5 layers OPI, 1 layer TWAF, 1 coat SV

Dutch Ya Just Love OPI?

Today I'm wearing Dutch ya just love OPI? Which is a gorgeous shimmery purple, 2 coats, very easy to work with. I topped it with Dollish Polish Putting on the Ritzzz. Ritz is a great black and white hex topcoat and I love it...

Funky Dunkey Flakes Out

For three days I've been wearing OPI Funky Dunkey topped with FingerPaints Asylum. Funky Dunkey is my absolute favorite purple, it's rich and opaque and neither too blue nor too red with my skin. Asylum is one of the new FingerPaints flakies and I think it's my favorite of the bunch, it flashes pink, blue, orange, purple, green, and yellow but doesn't look rainbow-y like Twisted. This is one of the prettiest flakie combos I've ever worn and I am loathe to take it off. The flash photo is color accurate, the others are in low light to show off the different colored flakes.

Warm and Fozzy

This was my thanksgiving mani this year, pretty subdued but pretty none the less. This was three coats of OPI Warm and Fozzy plus sv topcoat
